Plushies get a lot of love, so a little care keeps them soft for years. Always check the care label first: it has the final word for each toy.
Everyday care
Brush the fur gently with a soft clothes brush to lift it and remove dust. For small marks, dab (don’t rub) with a damp cloth and a drop of mild soap, then let it air dry.
Washing
If the label allows it, hand wash in cool water with a mild detergent. Squeeze gently instead of wringing, then roll the plushie in a towel to soak up extra water. Plushies with sound boxes, batteries or glued parts should only be surface cleaned.
Drying and fluffing
Let it dry flat at room temperature, away from radiators and direct sun. Once dry, brush the fur again and give it a gentle squeeze to bring back its shape.
